Transformation...an idea and theme that is continually playing out in our lives and one that came to mind when I first saw the work of Lucy McRea. She calls herself a "Body Architect" and creates designs that transform the human silhouette into works of art. Her bio describes her work as: sculpture, architecture, science and fashion design. I call it mesmerizing, sometimes creepy, visually jolting and poetic. One look and you'll see why I am compelled to share her work.
