It’s definitely spring here in Seattle complete with crazy weather and flowers everywhere. I just finished up a commission that I have been working on for a while and I shipped it off yesterday with a great sense of relief. The studio has become my art “lab” in recent weeks and there have been lots of interesting experiments and a few discoveries being made of new tools and techniques. I am posting some photos of the results and works in progress. Next week I will share the details of a fun project I’ll be undertaking for the Tacoma
Art Museu
m so stay tuned…

I saw your work in the Alexis Hotel. It is really spectacular. I am new to encaustic and was inspired by your pieces.
